Below is a
properly translated portion of chapter 6 from the book of Ephesians that
defines the battlefield, the enemy, the Christian
Battle plan, and our weaponry for the last days
Paul’s wrapping up his letter and making his final
conclusions to the church at Ephesus,
and for today's "Church", which is the Spiritual
Body of Christ.
I hope and pray it bears witness to your spirit, and
the “rightness” to the words written here on this "God
Save the Church" website.
Finally, my brethren in the Lord,
be ye empowered, and in the might of Him.
11 Put on
armour of God, that ye may
be able to withstand the methods of the devil.
12 For we
not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the World rulers
of the darkness of this world, against wicked
in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the
armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in
the evil day, and having done all, to HOLD YOUR
therefore, buckle on
the belt of truth,
and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
with the readiness to serve the Good News of Peace
as shoes for your feet;
all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall
be able to quench the fire tipped
of the wicked.
17 And take
the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the
Spirit, which is the word of God:
– A full suit of armor and equipment for a warrior
- From old Greek meaning to: Wrestle (mano y mano
or in this case Mano y Daemon) until one has pinned
the other by placing his foot on the opponents’ neck
and holding him down into submission or death.
